What a Good Visit Looks Like
Most of the estates we list are two to eight hours from Chennai, often on ghat roads. A visit is a full day, sometimes two — and it is worth doing properly.
- We walk the full boundary, not just the frontage
- Water sources are inspected at their current level
- You meet the owner or their representative
- Documents are available for a first look
- We are honest about what needs money spent on it
Practical Notes
- Wear boots — estate ground is uneven and often wet underfoot.
- Mornings are better. Light is good and the labour force is on site.
- Mobile coverage is patchy on hill estates; share your travel plan in advance.
