Estate Development
Turning acreage into a functioning estate — in the right order, phased to a realistic budget.
Estate Development
Raw land becomes a working estate through a sequence of decisions, and the sequence matters more than the spend. Nothing gets planted before the water and the access are settled.
The most expensive mistakes we are called in to correct are almost always ordering mistakes. Blocks planted before drainage was cut, so the first heavy monsoon washed the contour away. A pump house built where the vehicle cannot reach it. Fencing erected along a boundary nobody had surveyed.
We start with an assessment: soil depth in several places, slope and aspect, water sources and their dry-season level, existing canopy, access and the survey position of the boundary. That produces a layout — where the blocks go, where the roads run, where water is stored and how it gets to the crop.
The work is then phased across seasons so spending is spread and each stage can be inspected before the next begins. Our own supervisors run the site, with contractors we have worked with for years.
